Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father took an early interest in the theater. While being a student at Emory University, he performed at several shows in Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi the Mississippi coast, he was a part of an production along with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and in 1956 their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter and his wife left for the Army in the year 1957 after which they began enrolment with Walter in Tulane University. Walter began working with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved into Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local kids' Saturday morning television show Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they themselves funded. In the following year, they established The Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for six years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) during this period.
