Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports started at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's professional career. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a professional. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Her UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for the TKO victory in the second round. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter receiving the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended her streak to win. in the 3rd round on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
